Keith Forbes a local resident from Malden, Keith Forbes is now considered one of the top baseball instructors in New England and works with many of the up-and-coming, young pitchers in the area. In 1996, Keith was awarded a full scholarship to play baseball at Division 1 Troy State University. In 1997-1998, he went 9-2 with a 3.28 ERA. His pitching success in college led to him being drafted in the 1998 Major League Draft by the San Diego Padres. He spent 5 years in the Padres organization. In 2000, Keith led all of the minor leagues in appearances with 74 between A Rancho Cucamonga and AA Mobile Bay Bears (Padres Farm System). Over the years, Keith has been affiliated with several other professional, independent baseball leagues including the Quebec Capitals of the Can Am League. He is available for pitching, hitting, and fielding instruction and player development.
